Let's start.
I am a 21 year old senior Psychology major. My interests in psychology are somewhere in the ballpark of how psychological phenomenas take place within virtual environments. As a ex-MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) gamer I experienced many of the ups and downs of social interaction and human behavior with people (yes, they're real people) who were sometimes not much more than a pixelated character on my screen or a scrambled voice through my headphones. Although I no longer preoccupy myself 30 to 40+ hours a week in a virtual reality, the impact gaming has had on my life is more than I can even begin to articulate within the confines of a short introductory blog post. However, I think the small glimpse into my (past) life will not only help explain some of the motives behind my research interests but my gaming experience will also serve as a source for some of my blog content.

Currently, when people ask me, "What do you do?"
I also ask myself, "What is it...that I do?"
I'm hoping that as time goes by, I am able to find that answer for myself.
For now, I keep myself occupied with music and fashion. Living under a rock (It scares me how un-hypothetical this statement is) for several years kept me from really embracing these two loves. So, as of recent I spend a lot of time discovering all types of new music. As far as my fashion interests I like to: gush over editorials from Vogue, avidly keep up-to-date with bloggers (i.e., street style), and watch runway shows from my favorite designers (e.g., Givenchy, Saint Laurent, ChloƩ, and anything bestowed upon us mere mortals by Karl Lagerfeld).
Other than that, I love cats. I love digital design. I love chai tea. I love zucchini and grapefruit. I love buying cheap jewelry off eBay. I love anime. I (still) love video games.
I am looking forward to this Social Psychology blogging experience, I hope you are too!
